Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring, while broadening your skillset into areas like quantum sensing and unmanned systems.What You’ll Work On:Develop and maintain system-level requirements for RF collection systems, geolocation systems, digital radio frequency memory, and special communications systems, ensuring traceability from mission concept of operations through subsystem specifications.Conduct trade studies and analyses to evaluate design alternatives, performance margins, and technical feasibility.Perform advanced RF design modeling using electromagnetic (EM) and RF simulation tools to optimize performance, signal integrity, and link budgets.Lead concept development, system architecture, and detailed design of integrated RF systems, connecting custom hardware modules with software-defined radio (SDR) and digital signal processing (DSP) layers.Drive the integration, testing, and debugging of RF systems across various hardware, firmware, and operating systems.Author a test plan, and lead system validation and verification of the system requirements.Serve as the primary technical interface for multidisciplinary teams and government clients, providing strategic mentorship to junior engineers.Support risk identification, mitigation planning, and technical performance measurement (TPM) tracking throughout the program lifecycle.Join us. The world can’t wait.You Have: 8+ years of experience in RF engineering and systems engineering focused on the design, development, integration, and testing of custom or COTS-based RF hardware and software systemsExperience with advanced RF simulation platforms such as Ansys STK, HFSS, FEKO, or MATLAB, link budget and link analysis, RF HW designs, and DSP algorithmsExperience leading Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs) and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), test readiness reviews, and final acceptance test reviewsExperience performing trade studies or analysis of alternativesExperience creating marketing whitepapers, proposal technical volume materials, and project technical reportsKnowledge of engineering documentation processes, including creating systems requirements documents and test plansAbility to present technical solutions clearly to stakeholdersTS/SCI clearanceBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringNice If You Have: Experience with Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) principles, SDRs, and open standards such as SOSA and VITAPossession of strong collaborative skillsMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems EngineeringClearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
