Senior CRO Strategist

Location: Remote (US)

Salary : $100-120K base salary + bonus

We're partnering with a growing Shopify consultancy looking to hire a Senior CRO Strategist to help leading DTC brands maximize the performance of their online stores through data-driven experimentation and customer-centric optimization

This is a highly strategic, client-facing role where you'll develop optimization roadmaps, lead experimentation programs, and collaborate with design, development, and growth teams to deliver measurable commercial results.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage CRO strategies across multiple Shopify engagements
• Prioritize optimization opportunities using analytics, customer research, and business objectives
• Design, execute, and evaluate A/B and multivariate testing programs
• Translate experiment results into actionable business recommendations for clients and internal teams
• Conduct UX audits, heuristic reviews, and competitive analyses to uncover opportunities for growth
• Partner with designers and developers to implement high-impact experiments and enhancements
• Create client presentations, optimization roadmaps, and strategic recommendations
• Support pre-sales conversations through site audits, opportunity assessments, and solution recommendations
• Stay current on emerging trends in Shopify, eCommerce, experimentation, and consumer behavior

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience leading Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives
• Previous experience working at a Shopify agency or digital consultancy supporting multiple client accounts
• Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and modern DTC customer journeys
• Strong knowledge of UX principles, merchandising strategies, and conversion best practices
• Experience building experimentation roadmaps that drive measurable improvements in conversion, AOV, revenue, and customer engagement
• Expertise using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting findings and recommendations to executive and client stakeholders
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms such as Convert, VWO, Intelligems, Optimizely, or similar
• Experience using behavioral analytics tools including Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Lucky Orange, or comparable solutions
